John B. Vreeland, CFP® John Vreeland has been in the financial service business since 1982. He holds an MBA from Columbia as well as the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations. His experience includes real estate analysis and sales with Coldwell Banker Commercial, International Reality Finance, Marcus & Millichap and Hyland Properties. He spent five years at Cigna Financial Advisors as a financial planner for high net worth individuals and corporations in the San Francisco Bay Area before founding Vreeland Financial Designs (VFD) in 1997. John offers his extensive experience, passion for problem solving, and gift for distilling and clarifying complex financial issues to the clients of Fairlead Financial Advisors, LLC.
John has lived in Mill Valley since 1991 with his wife and two daughters. He sits on the Mill Valley Community Financial Advisory Committee (CFAC) which provides strategic financial planning services for the Mill Valley School District. John is an avid sailor, diver and windsurfer - though he spends much of his free time ferrying his daughters to their activities.
